Get ready to trim for a tremendous cause! Join us for the 34th annual Chop Around the Clock at Foltos Tonsorial Parlor, running non-stop from 4 PM Friday, June 6 to 4 PM Saturday, June 7. We’ll be cutting hair for 24 hours straight—and donating every penny raised to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana.
While this is the 36th year since the very first Chop, we took a brief pause during the COVID years—making 2025 our 34th year of non-stop “chopping.” And what a legacy it is: together, we’ve raised over $400,000 to help families stay close to their hospitalized children.
But Chop is about so much more than haircuts (although, yes, a 2 a.m. trim can be surprisingly delightful). It’s 24 hours of community, compassion, and celebration—complete with:

- Free Cookout Dinner & Bake Sale
- Face Painting & Balloon Blowing
- Storytelling & Kids’ Games
- An Incredible Raffle
- The Epic Ice Cream Eating Contest
- And, of course, haircuts around the clock!

11:00 PM–8:00 AM – Late-night haircuts, soft music, and storytelling

8:00 AM – Bring breakfast and bring your appetite
8:30–10:00 AM – Morning music and games
10:00 AM–4:00 PM – Face painting, more music, more food, and fabulous haircuts!
